This guide will walk you through building your “core context”—the key information about your company that powers a high-quality, investor-ready pitch deck. You’ll learn how to use three flexible input methods: uploading a document, answering a chat-based questionnaire, or writing in free form.

Before You Start

  • Sign into your Pitches.ai account.
  • Have your company information or business plan ready in advance for the best results.
  • Prepare a concise and detailed description of your business (the more context, the better your pitch will be!).

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access the Core Context Setup

  • After logging in, click Create a Brand and input your company’s basic details (name, sector, and a short description).
  • Then proceed to create your core context.

Step 2: Choose How You Want to Share Your Core ContextYou’ll see three ways to provide company details. You can use just one or combine them for maximum impact.

Option 1: Chat-based Questionnaire

  • Click on Questionnaire.
  • Answer a series of guided, chat-style questions about your business.
    • Tip: The more thorough your answers, the stronger your pitch deck content will be.
    • Think about your company’s mission, your target customer, your key metrics, traction, and vision.
  • Take your time! This is your chance to teach Pitches.ai about your business.

Option 2: Upload a File

  • Choose “Upload a Document.”
  • Select a PDF file with up to 20 pages (ideal for a business plan, executive summary, or previous deck).
    • Note: Only PDF uploads are supported, and the file limit ensures we can process your material quickly and accurately.

Option 3: Freeform Entry

  • Choose “Write in Freeform.”
  • Type (or paste) your ideas, bullet points, or a rough overview of your business. This is great if you don’t have a finished plan or want to brainstorm.
    • Be as detailed as possible for the best output.

Step 3: Process Your Context

  • Once you’ve entered information via one or more methods, click Process Context.
  • Pitches.ai will analyze your input to build out your personalized pitch deck foundation.

Step 4: Return to Main Menu

  • After processing, you can click to go back to the previous menu and continue setting up your brand visuals or move forward to pitch generation.
